70.3 Phillipines this weekend - Mabuhay from the Philippines

After some 24hrs of flying and stopovers we finally made it to the beautiful island of Cebu for this weekends 70.3 Philippines Half Ironman. This race has gone from strength to strength with the race filling up in 40mins with 2147 athletes signing up. It will be a tough race with the heat and humidity along with World Champions Pete Jacobs, Chris McCormack, Aussies Courtney Atkinson, Ben Allen and many many more!

After this weekends race I head straight to Samoa for the inaugural Samoa Half Ironman(August 10th) which should be great fun, it will be a tough race with more heat and some good climbs during the bike. I will then be having a mid season break. I haven't had a break in over 6years and the body is screaming out for one so I'm going to have 4-6 weeks off and then get ready for some late season races and the New Zealand season. Below are a few media articles, I'll be in touch after Sundays race.
