The Avanti Tru4 design team worked closely with leading shock manufacturers during the frame development to the tune wheel rate. The result is great small bump compliance, more perceived travel and good bottom out protection.
Low ratios between wheel travel and shock stroke increase shock velocities. This helps the compression and rebound damping circuits inside of the shock to better control the suspension motion and gives you better control of the bike.
