Rotorua, New Zealand. XTERRA is now the fastest-growing multi-sport event in the world and from it's beginings in Hawaii in 1993. Xterra has spread quickly throughout the mountain bike and triathlon community. The typical XTERRA is comprised of the following: 1.5K Swim, 30K Mountain Bike, 11K Trail Run. The XTERRA Global Tour holds championship events in Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Holland, the Czech Republic and Saipan. 2006 marked a great event for Avanti, with our top elite rider, Hamish Carter, taking 1st place AGAIN for the 3rd year running.
