Female Mountain Biker
Nic is one of NZ’s most exciting MTB prospects. Relatively new to the sport, she has had a rapid rise to the top. She is the 2009 NZ #2 in both XC and Marathon MTB. As well as winning the NZ XTERRA Championship.
The quintessential kiwi farm girl, Nic enjoyed a varied and successful sporting history. As captain of the Raetihi Schoolboys rugby team at primary school, and a senior Otago rugby representative at University, Nic states it was her “failure to grow upward, or outward” that led to an interest in endurance sports.
A determined, focussed individual, Nic is now chasing an Olympic MTB berth in 2012.
