Avanti 2010 Highlights - Sneak Peek

Avanti bikes have once again taken an exciting step forward. We've have added some fantastic new models this year and have evolved some key models to a new level.

You're among the first to get the inside story on the new 2010 range of bikes that have only just been launched to dealers.

So check out the highlights of the range below. You'll be able to check them out in more detail online or in store soon. Contact your nearest AvantiPlus store for details.

  • Women's Specific Models

    New for this season Avanti has its own specific women's range. All new purpose designed models that have been shaped over a period of months with input from a diverse group of women riders who, combined with Avanti, are determined to improve the riding experience for all women. This development process is referred to as WISE (Women+Insight+Science=Excellence) and has resulted in specific women's frame geometry and componentry across the women's range.

    • Questa carbon road race
    • Vitale alloy road endurance
    • Aria flatbar road riding
    • Forte cross country mountain biking

  • Carbon Road Race

    Our flagship race bike has had the carbon fine tuned through new technologies including EPS (Ethyl Polystyrene) manufacturing and FEA (Finite element Analysis) computer simulation design to make the frames lighter and stronger than last year. Each frame is now SRM (power output measure) compatible and feature 2 piece cabling to eliminate inner-frame cable vibration.

  • Carbon Endurance Race

    The Cadent series has again evolved ensuring race level performance with a more forgiving geometry. The carbon frames have benefitted from the same new technologies as Quantum. They also feature the same SRM ability and two piece cabling as the Quantum.

  • SINGLE SPEED ROAD

    Back to basics riding meets urban cool. Two dedicated single speed models with Solo in flat bar and drop bar complete with flip flop hub if you want to go true fixie. Check out the multiple frame, wheel, grip and seat colour options to suit your own personal style.

  • Sport Trail

    Entirely new bike platform introduces the Explorer for the perfect blend of versatility and efficiency meaning fast on road riding and exciting off road capability. Go virtually anywhere, do virtually anything. There's a model for you with 5 in the range including a fully kitted commuter model ready to roll.

  • Commuter Models

    We now have a dedicated "commuter" bike in four of our bike families in the Path & Trail segment complete with mudguards, carrier, pannier bag and puncture resistant reflective tyres. Blade, Explorer, Discovery and Metro all dressed up and ready for action.

  • Blade 8 Belt Drive

    All new carbon belt drive technology is a lightweight system that does not stretch like standard chains, is super quiet and lubricant free which means clean and maintenance free. Complete with internal geared hub, carrier, pannier bags and mudguards.

  • Cross Country Race

    Featuring the all new Sram XX groupset the Competitor Team is the ultimate race machine. Spearheading an all new frame platform across the range this full carbon frame has benifitted from the new carbon frame technologies EPS, FEA and HTR (High Toughness Resin) to increase robustness. So it's lighter and stronger than last year.

  • Cross Country

    All new frame design for improved strength, weight, looks and ride quality featuring new custom tubing. Combined with a review of all forks and components this complete new platform has allowed an average 450 gram weight reduction across the range with up to 1.6kg saving on some models compared to 09.

Note these are our first samples so final spec may differ when released later this year.
